Polos
Boys polo shirts, also known as golf shirts and tennis shirts, have come a long way since their beginnings. They actually started out as tennis shirts. They were first introduced by René Lacoste, a seven time Grand Slam tennis champion, who disliked the existing tennis uniforms. He debuted his first design in 1926, but it wasn’t until 1933 that he started selling them with his signature crocodile embroidered on the breast. It didn’t take long before others adopted the versatile shirts, including polo players and golfers. Eventually, the polo shirt became popular for casual wear, too. Gotapparel.com provides both long sleeve and short sleeve youth polo shirt options from a variety of name brands at wholesale prices.
